Jim Stern is the Lead Pastor of Destiny Church – St. Louis. Jim and his wife Jessica have been involved in ministry since they were teenagers. His journey with music started at the young age of four, and developed through his childhood and teenage years. Their experiences in music and ministry have birthed a passion in their hearts to be part of a church that lives with a deep understanding of worship, prayer, outreach, and the presence of God. They desire to see every person walk in the truth of God’s Word, live full of zeal, and fulfill God’s purposes for their life.

Jim and Jessica both have been blessed with a wonderful Christian heritage going back several generations in their families. Jim’s parents, Phil & Linda Stern, have been involved in pastoring several churches in their 30 years of ministry, as have Paul & Eleanor Stern (Jim’s grandparents) been faithfully serving in missions work and ministry for over 50 years. Jessica’s parents, Kent & Carla Henry, have seen God work in churches across the country through worship and prophetic ministry for 30 years as well.

Married since 1999, Jim and Jessica endeavor to pass their spiritual inheritance on to their three daughters, McKennah, Eva, and Jadyn, who are a huge joy in their life!
